How this tool works
Classifies an IPv4 address by well-known private, loopback, link-local, documentation, shared, multicast and other special ranges. Unlisted publicly routable-looking addresses may still be unallocated or filtered in practice.
Worked example
192.168.1.10 is RFC 1918 private; 127.0.0.1 is loopback.
Always verify outputs before changing production systems. These tools are for learning, planning, and troubleshooting.
